"Third time and it's been great every time" My company has an office in Somerville and I stay here every time I come up. Well, except once when the B&B was booked so I got stuck at a Marriott in downtown Boston. I now schedule my business trips around room availability because the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable on top of the convenience.
"Fabulous Place" We had a wonderful time in Boston and the Bowers House made the stay even more perfect! I would stay there again and again when we travel to Boston! Clean, comfortable, quiet, lovely with easy access to walk to Davis Square and to get around Somerville.
"Bowers House B&B! Great" Had the king room on the first floor... very neat, clean and comfortable... private bathroom just across the hall...there was a sitting room next to my room and behind that, the kitchen. There did not appear to be any other rooms on that floor, making it very private. The directions to get there were perfect.
"Excellent owner & location with clean accomodations" Christina the owner/hostess invited us in and we immediately felt at home in our clean, spacious room. She is incredibly friendly and accommodating.The location is right in Davis Square, just a couple of blocks from the train station and near many cafes, restaurants, stores, and a historic movie theater. The common kitchen area is clean and special treats are provided. Our room also had a newly renovated bathroom that was very nice. The only problem was that we weren't able to stay for weeks!
"Great place to stay" My husband and I loved staying at Bowers House. We had not a single complaint from our three-night stay. First of all, we got into town early and, needing a place to put our bags that was safely out of the rain, we ended up heading to the house before check-in time. Christine was very accommodating.
"Excellent" I stayed there for about six nights. The hostess is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent, five minutes by subway to Harvard Square. Christina will do everything she can to help you out.
"Couldn't be better!" We came to Somerville to celebrate my daughter-in-law's graduation from MIT. This was our first experience at the Bowers House. This place is kept so well, is ridiculously clean, and is a five-minute walk to Davis Square. The best part was the interaction with the owner, Christina, and her very capable husband. Both are extremely accommodating and friendly.
"Great B&B" My husband and I stayed at the Bowers House for the first half of our honeymoon. The owners had roses and a card in our room, which we thought was a great touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as the Bowers House is close to the T, eateries, and town center. We would definitely recommend staying here.
"Superb place to stay close to Davis Square." I booked a week in advance for a queen en-suite room and received a very nice email from the owner stating a bit more detailed information about my stay, what to do if they were not there to receive me, where to park, where the cookies were for my arrival..! I found this a nice touch and when I arrived.
